Visiting Hours
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center




Medical/Surgical Units:


Seven days a week, 10:00a.m. to 8:00p.m.
No children under 16 years old.



Pediatrics:


Parents may visit any time. One parent may stay overnight.
All other visitors: 12:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Children 3-16 years old, from 2:30p.m. to 4:30p.m.



Mother/Baby Unit:


Fathers may visit any time.
Grandparents, siblings and other family members: 12:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
General visiting (age 12 and up): 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Children 3-16 years old, from 2:30p.m. to 4:30p.m.



Critical Care Units (MICU, CCU, SICU):


Visitors are limited to only the immediate family, two people for 5 minutes at a time, every hour on the hour from 12 noon. until 8:00p.m. Please check with the nurse if you have special needs. No Children at all.



Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU):


Parents may visit at any time. Others may visit only on weekends from 12:00 noon to 6:30 p.m. A parent must be present with the visitor.



Rehab Unit


Weekdays - 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays - 12:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.



The Brady Institute (TBI)


Weekdays - 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays - 12:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.



Psych 2 & Psych 3


2:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. & 6:30 to 8:00p.m. - No Children allowed.



Please check with the nurse if you have special needs.



PLEASE REMEMBER


No smoking in patients rooms
Long visits tire the patient - please be considerate
Children 16 & under are not permited on the floors
No child is to be left unattended in the waiting room area
Only 2 visitors allowed per patient at a time
