Clinical Services
he Department of Ambulatory Care at Jamaica Hospital provides patients with excellent primary and specialty care. The department operates over 35 clinics, conveniently located throughout the Queens community. These facilities provide a full range of services, including medical, pediatrics, orthopedic, and obstetrical/gynecological services, to name a few.
Jamaica Hospital’s on-site Ambulatory Care Center is located on the ground level 
of the hospital and offers evening and weekend hours. The Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Medical and pediatric sessions are held on Saturdays from
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For an appointment, call

The department’s Ambulatory Care Centers provide the following:
- Modern and fully equipped medical offices
- 24 hour/day phone access to physicians
- Ability to be followed by the same physician
- Multilingual staff
- Most insurances accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid
- A member and participating provider of HealthFirst and Neighborhood Health Providers managed care networks
- Sliding fee scale available for qualified patients
- Licensed by the New York State Department of Health
- Operated by Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, serving Queens and East New York communities since 1891
All Ambulatory Care Centers are staffed by fully qualified, Board Certified/Board Eligible Physicians and licensed nurse practitioners. The centers accept most health insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid. HealthFirst, Neighborhood Health Providers, and Child Health Plus plans are accepted as well.
